Located near the northern shore of Sun Moon Lake, Fleur de Chine Hotel offers a bright, peaceful space set against the encompassing and ever-changing panoramas of the Lake, where our guests can take in the incomparable beauty of nature’s painting from every angle.
Fleur de Chine meticulously plans 207 guest rooms, with 205 rooms featuring natural hot spring baths for you to enjoy full relaxation in utmost privacy. (The other 2 rooms are specially designed classic mountain view rooms with accessibility features, and the bathtubs in these rooms are not usable for safety reasons.)
For a complete vacationing experience, the hotel also includes six gourmet restaurants featuring tantalizing Chinese and Western cuisines.
We are not a hotel for everyone.
What We Are Not?
After the 921 earthquake in 1999, Fleur de Chine kick-started the road to reconstruction for continuing the development and operation of the Chinatrust Sun Moon Lake Hotel since 1975.
During the period of renovation, the idea of discovering hot springs appeared. Although hot springs in Sun Moon Lake had been unheard of before, the hotel actively engaged in geologic exploration and carried out drilling projects in several places.
Finally, Fleur de Chine discovered affluent hot springs at a depth of more than 1,000 meters at the entrance next to the big stone. From then on, the existence of the first hot spring of Sun Moon Lake was discovered.
